Well guess the previous post went up in smoke hahaha. Well a lot has happened since the last post and did quite a bit. Starting something big :-). It involves paintball markers and a concept. I would like to share some pics of the prototype but it’s probably a bit too early. might as well share the pics of the first projects that put me on this path.

I should probably add a bit of back story…

I first played paintball about 15 years ago. Back then I was no more than some kid running around with a marker that propels small balls at a dangerous velocity thinking he can save the world. Needless to say i was carefree. 10 years later I wanted to make nerf gun that can shoot the nerf darts beyond 100′. I kinda succeeded in thats but thats a different story. in the process of making it I rediscovered paintball and saw the Tiberius T8 and T9. Got the T8.1 and a T8 and had joyous days with them. Here is a pic of the beauties.

After that I finally understood what Ocelot from MGS meant when he said “I loved to reload during a battle.” It makes it all the more tense and the odds are against you. Having just 8 rounds against someone with 200 +- paintballs is oddly fun. Probably a bit sadistic but fun hahaha. Realizing that playing with limited paint changes the perspective of the game I searched for pump guns. Found a few but the realism wasn’t there. The pistols had a unique allure to them because of their realism. So I decided to make my own. Being a WW2 fanatic back in the days I decided to take inspiration from the enfield and springfield rifle bolt action rifle. The resulting paintball marker is what you see below.

The interior is an Azodin ATS that i modified to function like a bolt action rifle. I chopped the grip off and shortened the trigger. Modified a bit more so the trigger was moved to the back closer to the rifle grip. Paintballs are still fed from the top with a 3/4″ PVC tube. HPA tank installed in the stock and picatinny rails installed on top for a scope and under the stock for bipods, flashlights and other accessories.

After this i wanted to make the rifle mag fed but it would work with the way the paintball rifle is designed. So i added a few parts and so I could insert a mag. The result is the next pic. 🙂

Like the previous marker this marker also has a the rear HPA tank, Picatinny rails on top and bottom, a bolt action but this one has a universal “Awesome AWP/L96” appeal and oh yea… it’s mag fed. Paintballs can be single fed from the side too if necessary.

So those are the projects I did in the past. The new project is something I’m hoping to put into production sometime in the future. Not going to share too much right now but hopefully this can bring joy to all of you too :-).
